Rreth 80 persona, ushtarakë të qeverisë siriane dhe militantë anti-regjim kanë humbur jetën në 48 orët e fundit në betejat e vazhdueshme që po zhvillohen në veri-perëndim të Sirisë midis trupave të Damaskut, të mbështetura nga Rusia, dhe grupeve të armatosura të opozitës të mbështetura nga Turqia.
Lajmi bëhet i ditur nga Observatori Kombëtar për të Drejtat e Njeriut në Siri (Ondus), sipas të cilit përleshjet kanë nisur që nga dita e mërkurë në lindje të Maarrat, në rajonin veriperëndimor të Idlib.
Observatori Kombëtar për të Drejtat e Njeriut ka dokumentuar vrasjen e pesëdhjetë militantëve anti-regjim, përfshirë luftëtarë qaidistë dhe tridhjetë ushtarakëve dhe militantëve besnikë.
