Nov. 6-9, ‘’Vital for a successful negotiating process with EU’’ seminar

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA) plays an essential role for the EU collaboration, so as this integration advances, the negotiating staff needs to increase its skills capacity.
This seminar opens with a lecture on the theme ‘’the debate on the future of EU’’ by professor Stratenschulte from the National German Foundation. It is organized by MEFA’s Diplomatic Academy in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
Young diplomats and professionals committed to career at MEFA participating in this seminar could improve their negotiating skills for Albania’s official representation in the integration negotiations with EU, and learn how to develop successful strategies for the country.
Nov. 8-9, Tirana Connectivity Forum

Tirana Connectivity Forum has been organized annually since 2015 to analyze the Berlin process by bringing together experts, researchers and policy makers. It is organized by the Institute for Cooperation and Development in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Friedrich Ebert Foundation, and Hanns Seidel Foundation.
This year’s activities will offer themes of economic intercommunication, social coherence, development and politics, growth, convergence and good governance, using the Enlargement Strategy 2018 and the London Summit of July 2018 as objectives.
Nov. 9-10, Thomas Clamor and the Arts University Woodwinds Orchestra concert

Thomas Clamors is a conductor, professor and ambassador of music beyond the borders. He transfers his enthusiasm and commitments to musicians and audience in the same degree he himself experiences. Internationally demanded, Clamor is the main conductor of the Woodwind Philarmony of Saxony. He performs with his orchestra in other symphonic formations and musical ensembles worldwide.
Clamor established the European Brass Ensemble with center Stift Melk monastery, and the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble as wel.. He conducts the Salzburg Festival, London Proms at Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philarmony, and is guest at various orchestras in China, Korea, South America and Europe.
Except giving a cultural contribution, Clamor is also engaged in national and international lecturing. In Albania, this is the first collaborative concert which is brought after a five-day workshop, and marks the beginning of a German-Albanian artistic and pedagogical exchange.
