Member of the European Parliament, Tanja Fajon, who is also a visa reporter for Kosovo, visited Serbia where expresed her opposition regarding border correction in Kosovo.
According to her, High Representative of European Union Federica Mogherini is being criticized more and more by EU leaders.
“Any border change is a very sensitive issue. I do not support such an idea because I fear it will have a negative effect on the whole region, causing destabilization. This worries me and many states within the EU. I often hear that more and more EU leaders are criticizing Mogherini’s position because there are other leaders in the Balkans who want to change borders,” said Fajon.
She added that what Politicians must do, is find solutions that lead to the normalization of life without manipulation and without populism.
